Overview
Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery requires 3-4 years of hospital-based surgical and anesthesia training after graduation from dental school. As Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Drs.Whitney and Ramsey manage a wide variety of problems involving the Oral Cavity and Facial Structures. Drs. Whitney and Ramsey practice a full scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery with expertise ranging from Dental Implant Surgery, 3rd Molar Surgery (wisdom tooth removal), Corrective Jaw Surgery to all aspects of Facial Cosmetic Surgery. This also includes techniques designed to rebuild bone structure with minimal surgical intervention and optimal patient comfort.
Staff

















The surgical staff at Whitney Oral & Facial Surgery, PC is composed of experienced Registered Nurses who are also certified Oral and Maxillofacial Nurses, who assist in the administration of IV Sedation, General Anesthesia and Surgery. All medical staff are certified in either Basic Life Support or Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support. Dr. Whitney is an (ACLS) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Instructor at Rockingham Memorial Hospital.
