2.1 Personal Information
There may be times (such as when you subscribe to a service, register with a Site, or to participate in contests, sweepstakes or promotions, etc.) when we ask you to provide certain personally identifiable information, such as your name, address, telephone number, email address, birth date, gender, occupation, personal interests, etc. (“Personal Information“).
Whether or not to provide such Personal Information is completely your own choice. But if you choose not to provide the Personal Information we request, you may be unable to subscribe to a service, register with Sites, access certain services, offers, and content on our Sites.
2.2 Anonymous Usage Data
In general, you can visit many of our web pages without telling us who you are or revealing any Personal Information. We may track the Internet domain address from which people visit us and analyze this data for preferences, trends, and Site usage statistics, but individual users will remain anonymous, unless you voluntarily tell us who you are (“Anonymous Usage Data“).

We use Personal Information and Anonymous Usage Data in ways compatible with the purposes for which it was collected or authorized by you and for internal purposes, such as to notify you of new products or services, to send service notifications, to customize the advertising and content you see, to fulfill your requests for products and services, to improve the Sites, to conduct research, to solicit your feedback and input about the Sites, and to provide more relevant products, services, and advertisements on or through the Sites. Personal Information and Anonymous Usage Data may be combined with data collected from other sources so that we may further improve the relevance of products, services, and advertisements offered on or through the Sites.

We provide our Service Providers with the information reasonably necessary for them to perform these services. Each Service Provider must agree to implement and maintain reasonable security procedures and practices appropriate to the nature of the information involved in order to protect your information from unauthorized access, destruction, use, modification, or disclosure.

We may use, and disclose to third parties, certain Anonymous Usage Data regarding the Sites (e.g., number of visits, page views, number of users who reside in a particular geographic location, etc.). However, such information does not identify you individually.

We may share Personal Information and Anonymous Usage Data with entities controlling, controlled by, or under common control with DDC Internet, Inc. In the event that DDC Internet, Inc., or an individual Site, is merged, sold, or in the event of a transfer of some or all of our assets, we may disclose or transfer Personal Information and Anonymous Usage Data in connection with such transaction.

We cooperate with government and law enforcement officials and private parties to enforce and comply with the law. We may disclose Personal Information and any other information about you to government or law enforcement officials or private parties if, in our discretion, we believe it is necessary or appropriate in order to respond to legal requests (including court orders and subpoenas), to protect the safety, property or rights of DDC Internet, Inc. or of any third party, to prevent or stop any illegal, unethical, or legally actionable activity, or to comply with the law.
4. Communication Tools; Public Areas
Please be advised that, whenever you voluntarily post information to any community or interactive areas of the Sites, such information can and may be accessed by the public. This means that any person or entity with access to such information can potentially use it for any purpose, including sending unsolicited communications.
We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect the confidentiality and security of information transmitted to us. However, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while we strive to protect information transmitted on or through the Sites, we cannot and do not guarantee or warrant the security of any information you transmit on or through the Sites, and you do so at your own risk.
6. Children’s Privacy Statement
We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under the age of 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently received Personal Information from a child under the age of 13, we will delete the information from our records.
