My personal experience and why I feel so good about Dr. Carroccia and his team: Because, honestly all I remember was walking in and seeing Diane’s smiling face, and next thing I knew, I was at home sucking on a peanut butter fudge shake from sonic. After my milkshake I slept for a while and woke up to almost no soreness. Awesome! Now I have a lot of things in my mind for my mouth!

From day one Dr. Carroccia talked to me and let me know everything and was upfront about it. I had a wisdom tooth pulled and a root canal. I was real worried because at the time my ins would not cover it. After talking with the Dr. he made some phone calls and got it fixed. Regardless he would have had his money but he went the extra mile and made it happen for me. I was sedated for my work. He gave my pills for the night before and morning of. It mellowed me out and it was like going to sleep. All I remember is parts of the ride home. The whole team here has been nothing but helpful. My wife and my self will be returning our business here.

My wife noticed an ad for pain free dentistry and I decided to try it. I came in and was sedated and when I awoke everything was completed and no pain. After a terrible dental experience I was so afraid, I would cry days before any dental appointment. Going through with an appointment was not always possible for me, due to my fears. On the night before my sedation apt. I cried as usual but the anxiety/sedation medicine I got helped me get a good nights sleep. The morning of the procedure is nothing but a blank. My personal experience has been extremely varied. Years ago I had good insurance with a previous job. They gave me a good amount of coverage for my dental care needs. However, the dentist I went to kept sending me to a specialist for a number of root canals that I personally felt were not necessary. They performed them on teeth that I felt were beyond the need for root canals. They needed to be pulled. But, unfortunately they maxed out my insurance so I was unable to get the final work I needed done. So I lived with teeth damaged from root canals for a number of years, while my impacted wisdom teeth kept damaging my back teeth. I always felt ashamed to go to a dentist after what happened because I was afraid to hear how bad the damage would be by now. But, after the pain became a nuisance and it was apparent I needed to see someone, I talked to Dr.Carroccia. We have been friends for some time, so I trusted him to be honest with me and tell me the truth about how bad things had gotten and what needed to be done. His team worked with my insurance as best they could, and helped me get serious work done. I had 10 teeth pulled at one time. They gave me the sedation dentistry work that I pretty much slept through the whole way. I was sore for a couple of days, like anyone would be. But they gave me plenty of help and I was back to work the next week. Pretty quick I think for the massive work they did. They helped me realize that I didn’t have to be ashamed for how bad my mouth situation had gone. They didn’t judge me. They told me what needed to be done and were honest about everything up front. And the best part was I slept through the whole procedure and had great friends to help me out afterwards. They really are professional and do great work. I recommend them highly to everyone and all my friends.

I have returned twice for regular cleanings since February and have been able to sit through both just fine without additional sedation! Dr.Carroccia is the best dentist I’ve ever been to. His staff is also incredible. It is a good feeling to enter an office and be known by your first name. Dr. Carroccia and his staff make everyone feel comfortable with their visit and they keep you involved and interested in your own dental health. If I move away from Clarksville, I will never find a dental office as great as St. B. If you have the option, sedation is the way to go.

I was terrified after my last experience that I had over2 years ago to see a dentist until my tooth started to hurt & also broke. I then began to have insecurity & refused to see a dentist until I couldn’t take the pain anymore and I knew it would lead to infections and more. When I found Dr. Carroccia and did some research I felt more at ease. Mind you I still was terrified and had a fear of dentists but then I learned he could do sedation. I forced myself to go in and get my tooth fixed. Since I let my sooth go untreated that amount of time I need a root canal. So I tried oral sedation and came home and felt like I didn’t even get started. I did, I did it! With the oral sedation I underwent the root canal and didn’t even know it. Personally, I have had 2 major back surgeries in the past 2 years and seeing Dr. Carroccia was a piece of cake!
